Default Can you mount Gauges on A Pillar?

Does anyone know of any issues with mounting gauges on the A Pillar? I am installing Vortec SC and would prefer to mount on Pillar but not if it will impact Airbag.

I found a very nice 3 gauge A-pillar pod for the G @ Lotek.com (I think that's the URL).

That is a fishing site. The correct URL is http://www.gaugepods.com/

The only problem with those aftermarket gauge pods is they stick out so much... There's plenty of room behind there to flush the gauge into the panel, but it's a custom job...

I saw some pretty sick gauges at sema this year on a G that stuck to the window. I think they were greddy or hks but when I go forced induction I'm going to try and find some.
