Does anyone knows if this will work for the G like it does for the Z?

the creaters of the hood shock for the Z tried to create it for the G but it wouldn't work out.. it was a really old thread

The final conclusion was that they mounted the shocks backwards (if I remember right). They were trying to support ALL of the weight of the hood right by the pivot point. With an aluminum hood this is a terrible idea....
