If I was into this whole stupid +1 thing that everyone keeps using here... I'd post that here.

lol funny thread.. but he had it coming.. u can see that since he has such few posts that he pretty much came on here and asked. If he had searched he would've easily found the answer and could have avoided starting a new thread on this..

Both cars are built on the same frame and have the same body panels while also sharing similar suspension componentry, but the Skyline is a right hand drive vehicle with different engine/powertrain options that are only available to the Japanese market. They make the car in Japan with the following engines: 2.5 Liter V-6, 3.0 Liter V-6, and I believe they offer a 3.5 Liter V-6 for the Skyline 350GT(Don't quote me on that).
The Japanese Skylines also have a 3 Dimensional Navigation system that shows buildings and other city-specific obects that could never be stored on a single DVD for the U.S. versions of this car due to the data storage limitations of a DVD disc and the tremendous spatial differences in the land areas of the U.S. versus that of Japan.
There are also numerous minor cosmetic differences between the 2 cars.... mainly badging. The Japanese Skylines have Skyline-badged kickplates on the bottom of the doors on the Coupes between the A pillar and the B Pillar, along with all of the other Infiniti/G35 logos being replaced with Nissan/Skyline throughout the vehicle.
I'm not certain if this is the truth or not, but I also recall hearing something about the Japanese Government having a law that requires all Japanese cars come from the factory with a mandatory 120 MPH speed limiter instituted via ECU programming(or whatever the equivalent measure is in KM/H in Japan).
If you care to read some more about the history of the Skyline, here's a good link:

I'd tell him that the G35 is a G35 and the Skyline 350GT is not a Skyline GTR. The Skylines we know and love have RB motors that look like this:

I would claim your $10 because the G35 is no GTR.
I would claim your $10 because the G35 is no GTR.
Notwithstanding the fact that this post appears to have been started by a kid, it's my opinion that the G35 is not a Skyline GTR. When the Skyline GTR appears in '07 it will not be running a VQ. I understand it will be running a newer version of the VG-30DETT. The fact that the G35 is not a Skyline will be emphasized by the fact that the G35 will still be sold when the Skyline GTR is released in '07. At that time, it will be clear what is a Skyline and what is a VQ sedan/coupe.
regardless of whether or not the 350gt is a GTR, the kid bet his brother the g35 was the same thing as a "skyline" which it is. so the snot-nose lost his money. on a second note...as far as i know the 350gt doesnt have awd.
