Yeah, the WSII sounds a lot deeper and throaty. I'm just starting to break it in, because I just got it installed yesterday(MAD Props to NitrouZ for helping me!). I have yet to give-it at full throttle so I can't comment on HP gains on the butt dyno.
At this moment, I'm quite pleased with this system. High polish canister and dual tips, stealth looks and not too loud YET.
looks great, sounds awesome. Not too loud, but amplifies the stock VQ sound quite a bit. Easy to bolt on, but taking off the factory parts were a b!tch! Rusted screws...I had to get totally under the G and kick the wrench to loosen it...all this on 4 jackstands... YOU OWE ME BIG TIME GROOVY4! now go get me a hooker! lol...
It's amazing that even with the much bigger tubing and a more open design that the gains are minimal!
I know what you mean, because I can't really feel any difference in power. Maybe a little smoother pull in mid-range RPM. Who cares, I'm not in it to tune my car to be a 300-400hp beast anyways. Sounds good, looks nice and I got a really good deal = good enough for me
Since none of the exhausts don't really give much gains I wonder if you can just buy the muffler for half the price to just get the sound? I would definately pay 2 to 3 hundred for that!
