Injen intake or JWT?
#22
i hear the JWT sounds great.... i am also undecided and i really dont want to lose low end power.. is it true that you can lose 6 low end horses with injen? I know that the JWT doesnt cause any power loss but it also doesnt add as much horses as the injen cai

I ordered my Injen CAI from www.intensepower.com and have had it on for about 300 miles. I haven't noticed any low end losses and not to mention the high-end roar is great!

injen +1. any intake will make sound, which you cant even hear much when window is up. if you want to feel any gain, go with injen.
plenum spacer is a cheap mod you can do, which will give you a little gain. i just dont like the idea of removing the engine cover...

<edit> I have the Injen CAI installed </edit>
I think I may have noticed some loss in power from a stand still. However, I am gonna get out a stop watch and do a few 0-60 runs with mine then do some with a loaner as I get some body work done. Not very controlled or scientific, but it will ease my mind if there is no change on the low end.
The sound is good ... it leans a bit towards a "ricer" sound when you get on it. But as long as it's quiet while I am driving normally I am cool with it.
I am still on the fence about going with a spacer or an entire new plenum...

I think a space is a good mood-- Removing the engine cover is no big deal-- I did it within the first week of having my car (this was my first car) just to look around.
If I could find a spacer for a good price (or even an intake lol) I'd pick one up...
I'd really <3 an injen tho, I'm 17, nothing could be greater than a loud intake =D
