Wink Hello from a Caribbean Blue G35 Coupe

Well i just joined this forum but i've been around g35driver.com for a while so maybe i already know some of u. Anyway I have a 2003 Caribbean Blue G35 6MT. i bough it about 3 months ago, and i've already put rouhgly 10K miles on it and i just love it. I also took it to the drag strip, and managed to do a 14.54 @ 99.56 with original tires with 30K miles on them. anyway here are a few pictures of my baby (and me):

yep i know exactly what u mean ... i spent nearly 3 months looking for the Caribbean Blue color with a 6MT and rear wing. Considering that i live in Chicago where cars come and go like crazy all the time i thought i will find one easily ... but i had no luck. So i started searching all over the States until i found this one in Oklahoma ... drove 900 miles to get there ... and drove another 900 miles to bring the car back ... well i gotta admit it was all worth it

Well its a long story but I learned how to drive stick couz i'm European ... and well over ther u either learn how to drive stick or u take the bus. However, my brother is the one that really got me into cars. He currently has a 89 Toyota Supra Turbo ... that smoked me at the track ... he hasn't done all that much to it but is pushing mid 13s. I also worked for a body shop for 3 years when i was in college and i used to drive their repaired cars for inspection. so yeah i think thas where it all began ...

i also have another nissan ... a 200sx which i've had for 6 years and intend to use for my winter car from now on ... or maybe my daily car if gas prices keep rising like crazy

I'd like to swap out my rear badges for the skyline ones ... how hard is it?

I'd be scared to make it crooked.

J/K man. I agree that it's definitely nice seeing more female car enthusiasts on these boards. Without you ladies, it's just one big sausage fest up in here . BTW...nice pics, nice car, & as some pointed out already....nice lookin driver . So when are you going to start slapping on some mods???

that was actually the easiest one to swap. what i did is i put some tape under the old one to know exactly where it was intitially. then i used floss to take of each letter ... and some wax after that to clean in up ... oh and of course i spent like 30 min taking the glue off before that. Then the SKYLINE one comes already in this carton thing that keeps the letters aligned to one another so all i did is lined that up with the scotch tape i already had on there and went on and put it. it was very easy and came out perfect.

the nissan badge on the trunk was the hardest thing to put on i sat there for one hour staring at it thinking "what if i dont put it straight" it was such a pain.

thanks for the warm welcome. By the way i dont think i mentioned my name earlier. Anyway it is Milena (kind of sounds like mazda millenia).

So the track experinece was totally awesome for me and i would love to do it again and i believe even with the car stock as it is right now i could probably do something lower than 14.5, couz its all about practice, the picture is from my first and only time on the track so far, but i will definitely go again and whoop some ... by the way i was the only girl over there and i was probably asked more than 10 times "r u really the one driving" . and i got to meet all the guys that worked on the start line and they were all very helpful and constantly giving me advince on my launch.

as for mods ... currently there are none ... however i'm definitely getting cold air intake at spring, and i'm thinking of rims in the summer but it all depends on how much $$ i save up cosidering that i'm planning on spending all of the summer in Europe i dont know if i will get to drive the car at all.

my tires have gone bold since the track so the car now stays park in the garage couz its been raining like crazy all week ... so i'm getting new tires in a few weeks .... and in the mean time i'm driving my 200SX and enjoying the "power" of 1.6L Here are the two beasts:

and u can see one of my brother's Supra's in the back, this is the one we use for parts
