Default Cost for a 60k mile service???

Just wondering what others have payed for a 60k mile service? I am coming up on 60k pretty quick so I called the Infinity dealer and they quoted me just over $1,000 (no thanks). Thinking about trying a Nissan Dealership or just a local shop. Also, any suggestions for a good place in San Diego would be appreciated.
Also I just got my 03 sedan and wondering what grade fuel to use. Pretty sure it isn't tuned for 91 but dont know what it officially calls for. Thanks!

You'll notice that most of the services included in 60K mile service, you can do it yourself such as fluid top off, change oil, inspecting brakes, etc. I would suggest to do the services that you can do yourself, have the shop do the ones you can't and save the rest of the money for a later upgrade, FI maybe? As far as engine oil, I use Mobil 1 10W-30 ever since my first oil change.

$1k?!? Really? Geez. Just take it to a local mechanic and have them do a once-over checkup to replace belts and fluids as needed.

As for fuel, run premium.
