All,
Not sure if anyone here has run across this... its slightly off topic.. but I think that more of you g35'ers read here. Mods please dont move. thanks!
My best Bud owns a g35x (sedan) and all of the sudden I am able to hear the fuel pump mostly from the passenger footwell. This does not sound right. And was not audible before.
Bad Pump?
Bad filter?
Ideas?
Thanks in advance!

Is your car on?
Well normally the fuel pump turns on when the key is on ignition. It doesnt stay on but just primes. So it is normal. A bad fuel pump = car no start. Bad Fuel Filter = poor gas mileage.
Your lucky, my 240sx with a walbro is loud as hell. You can hear it walking away, inside the car, etc.
