Anyone tried putting in Z shocks and springs into a G35X?
I am thinking of putting in the 350Z shocks and springs into my 05 G35x. Has anyone tried it? Would it cause any problems with the ATTESA system? Your insights are appreciated.

You can run Z and G based springs, but your oem shocks have a very limited range that they will control and still let you have a decent car to drive.
You can send your oem front sway bar, end links and all the mounting hardware off to sanner prefab and they can make a stiffer copy to your specs. Be advised, they take a VERY long time to get the finished product out the door,....did I say a loooooogn time?

It lowers it about 3/4 and inch and it's firmer than stock. Very easy install.
Gsedan35, can you shed some light on what's some different about the 35x front shocks vs RWD G's? Shorter or longer than RWD G's? If I have to keep my front shocks, there shouldn't be any negative effect on using the 05 350Z springs and rear shocks? Comments? Thx.

This mean's that no RWD based G or Z shock or coilover will install on the front of your car. Your front anti roll bar is also totally different. For a upgrade their is one thing you can to and it will mean a fair amount of down time unless you buy a pair of oem shocks. Contact Koni and arrange to ship out a pair of oem shocks to them, they offer shop services and one of those services is called at "wet kit", they will basically gut your oem shocks and install Koni internals. They might, just might be able to remove lower leg portion of your oem shocks and graft them onto off the shelf Koni sport shocks, I would ask in any event. They tent to be busy, so if you do try it may take awhile.
