Quick question. I know there is a search function, but wasnt sure what keywords to use as I knew just putting exhaust would pull up many threads including a lot of FS ones.

Are the exhausts for the G35C and 350Z the same? Somebody told me that the G35C is longer, so it is different. Please let me know. Thanks!

The G35 is longer than the 350z.The exhausts do no interchange.

I havent picked up my G35C yet. One of my sponsors on my current car makes a 350Z exhaust, so I was checking to see if it would fit the G35C. Thanks for the heads up though!

It isn't too hard to adapt a 350Z exhaust to a G35. I have an 350Z APS dual exhaust on my G35 coupe, it required two cuts and 4 welds to make it fit perfect. After my mechanic welded it you couldn't even tell it had been modified.

 

i think there's an extension piece you can get to lengthen a 350z ehxaust to fit the G35 body....

 

yes you need an extension, can be bought at performance nissan, or made easily.
