Well i was talking to my friends bout the whole s2000 idea or srt and my dad overheard and blatantly said no sports car for me till my points go away. Well thas not till im 21. I was doing some thinking as i was upset with his decision and i found a way to get as close to my z as possible without haven a sports car. The G35 sedan. I took a look at some online and i see they are decently quick with the same type of motor as the Z and doesnt scream sporty or ricey like my other cars i was looking at. ITs looked at as a luxury sedan with some *****. I know some people on here have the sedan as well as a z and was curious as to how u like them. FOr sedans they are pretty quick and i would enjoy the 4 seats with a nice clean look and some decent reminder of the Z as well. So what do u guys think?

 

Listen to your old man. If you already have points on your license, dont risk getting it suspended. Of course, any car can speed, but you seem like you are disguising your "sports car" and will be reckless with the g35.

Sounds like you need to mature a bit in terms of driving. I can tell you its so damn easy to get reckless behind a sports car. I know...and I am 24 years old.

I can tell you...the sedan will just be the same if you dun learn to be more mature with your driving..

You should feel lucky that you even get to
drive that kind of nice car at your age.
If I was say, 20year old, and if my dad bought
me G35 coupe I would be so damn grateful.

Your right, the G35S. has the same engine as the 350Z... (A few diffs)

I've loved mine. I wanted a coupe, but ended up getting a deal that I could not refuse, and well, got my G35 Sedan.
A few small mods make it feel like a champ in the twisties....
Sure its not the fastest, or nimblest car out there, but like I said, a few mods go a long way with this perticular car.
Overall, if It were beteewn an G35 (Sedan or Coupe) or a Z, Well, they are all great!
Remember, nothing beats killing someone chump on the track (Usually they drive Civic's or older bmw's) with a 4 DOOR SEDAN!
Sure, doing it in a Z would make it a "tad" faster, but the G sedan holds it own just fine.

Any of the above would be a fun 4 door car.

 

G35 Sedan with the aero kit is not bad at all.

 

at this point i have 17 grand cash to buy a car. Im looking to get the car over the summer when i have a little more money. I just wanna no opinions on the car. I love the Z alot and no i cant have another one and figured thats the closest i could get to it.

 

Kids aren't like that anymore old man, Its expected. A car isn't "Special" unless its and Audi or BMW or 40K+

 

just to throw the idea out there...but you could save all that hard earned money, which is quite a bit you've saved up there. Then drive something much cheaper but still allowing you to mod until you can make your own decisions on what you can drive. By that time, with all the money you've accumulated, you could really get whatever is out on the market that's hot. Maybe the newest 350z with 350hp....who knows.

Anyhow, the G35 sedan is still pretty sharp. You can't go wrong with it, but for me personally, I'm not ready for a 4dr sedan, practically speaking.
