I've driven the IS300, but not the new IS350. I went with the G35 because it had all the luxury I wanted, but still had the potency I was looking for with the VQ engine. The new IS is nice, but too expensive after you get all the perks. In any case, if this is your first sports car, I'd definately look at something cheaper and slower. You've got to walk before you run...

lets also consider the fact that the IS comes in auto for the 350 so if you like having full control of your gears and speed then this will be a minus cuz i don't believe there's a manual unless you get the 250. and those so-called "sequential" shifters aren't that fun.

I have a stock G and just raced a 350 last night and beat it. I was ahead by two car lengths. Just remember it's also who's a better driver and how you break your car in.

I would say the interior of the new IS350 is very refine and luxury..and it's quite comfortable to drive and it picks up pretty fast too...The IS350 can reach to 80mph in no time (only 2 gear shifting sound from the engine) It's an impressive luxury sedan but shouldnt be comparing that to the Z..cos the Z is a pure sport car..which is a lot more sportier to drive and the sound from the exhaust is no comparison..

bro, did you just blink?! you missed it, one drove right past your window... wait for it, wait for it, there's the exhaust note. All depends on what ur looking for a few mods on my g and i do 1/4 in 14.3, i've seen z's do better than that stock and lexus is sweet no stick shift tho. hope that helps welcome!

is350 has less interior cabin space than the g35 coupe in case someone hasn't already found out.... g35c is just lacking the headroom basically...

Speaking from the point of view of someone whose first car was also a G35C, the car is plenty fast. Extremely responsive, great handling and accelerates very quickly, plenty of engine for your first car.

oh yeah, a g35 sedan can be just as fast.... it just depends on how far you push the go-pedal.....

when i was 17 i had a 300 hp mach 1 and when i was 19 i had a 500 hp 04 cobra. Age doesnt matter (sometimes) its more of the maturity level you posses and how respectful and careful you are. my first car was a 99 6-banger stang though :-D
