Welcome to the boards. The G and the Z have the same engine. Because of the weight is possible that the Z could be a little faster when the cars are not modified. About the 0-100 time, your best bet is to check their website, all the information will be there. This should also be already in here, so use the search option and enjoy. Welcome and good luck with your choice.

I cant give you a speed the g does in 0-100 but the z will be a tad faster then the g do the the weight, but once you modify it doesnt really matter at that point.

No clue 0-100 but 0-60mph stock I was hitting between 5.4 & 5.7... Now with my Mods I am in the low 5's wanting to break into the 4's I think I'll have to go FI though since I don't have much else to do except test pipes and headers...

if you want the comfort/luxury/style get the IS
if you want to mod get the Z
if you want a little of both get the G.

sounds like it may be lacking in comfort from that post, i will have to go sit in one now. Lexus interiors are usually really comfortable and the fit and finish is top notch, i also have heard only good things about the new IS really.

you just dun get it..it is the interior room that it lacks, the IS room for rear passengers is almost non-existant for a 4-door sedan..

I didnt mean it that way, the Z and G have as much style as the IS in their own ways. the Z is very unique and has a lot of style. i was just talking about the luxury sort of style.

they're not the biggest cars, you are right, but you have to admit it has better NVH and more comfort oriented features (ex heated and cooled seats) than either the Z or G

I own a G and wouldnt trade it for an IS. But I have to give credit where its due.

Personally, if I could have gotten the loaded IS350 I ordered for around $41k rather than the full boat sticker of $44951 plus $2500 dealer markupB***++++, I would have liked the IS better. It was quicker by far, was a tighter car, had more features and the audio system can't be touched. That said, it cannot handle anywhere as well as the Z or G due to the electronic stuff on board. For people that really drive hard, it gets in the way. But you can drive it 80% in a corner and 100% straight, and that would have been enough for me.

I mean, I seriously doubt my modded G could hang with one unless it was a shorter track and a lot of turns. However, I did only spend $35k for now, and even after all my mods and FI and some minor stereo work, the audio is tolerable and it'll whip an IS for still less money...
