2007 G35 sedan... Updated Specs, numbers, and Review
JawJaw from G35driver.com provided us with this great article with plenty of information.
Its a really biased article, as they obviously lean towards the 330i. Also, it doesnt make sense to compare the 330i to the 07 sedan. It should have been a comparison of the 335i with the 07 sedan... They also screwed up in showing the current 3.5 litter engine bay instead of the new vq35hr engine bay and top speed.
But it gives us great information about the upcoming sedan (with exception of the biased opinions).
2007 G35 sedan 6MT:
0-60 in 5.2 seconds
Weight: 3497
Not bad for a sedan!!!

C&D managed 5.2s as well with 250mi... I'm a tad worried about the option to get a 6MT. Looks like we're stuck with the sport package just to get the manual tranny. Correct me if I'm wrong... I don't want the extras.
Also, those pictures look liek the pre-production unless Infiniti offers different front bumpers for different trims. The red G35 C&D drove had different air dam, and it looks better than the preproduction model.
Another thing, 310PS as in 306BHP? C&D's test vehicle stats indicate 306HP.

djtonium and showstoppertk,
yes you are both right.
The 335i should be a comparison with the 2008 G35 coupe as it is itself a coupe.
The photos taken are indeed pre-production photos. Here are the actual photos of the G35 sedan and the G35 sedan with sport package.
Also, I do believe getting the sports package is an option for the 6MT, but its a great add anyway so either way I dont mind.

I expect them to start at around 33,500 and reach around 42,000 fully loaded. Thats according to many sources.
Really? That looks like the same RED G35 C&D tested. I thought it was the SPORT 6MT model, and it has that same bumper.
Anyhow, I hope the transmissions are just options regardless of the trim... it'll def. save me some $$ when the coupe comes out.
So far, it's still a great buy compared to the Bimmer and IS350. The "other" is the TL, but there's too many on the road! Did you guys read up on the Type-S that gets the RL motor at 280+ HP? It's nice, but I still want a coupe. Def. gonna miss the Z... I have another year to enjoy.
[EDIT] I'd like to see pictures of the storage compartments whenever possible. I'd like to fit a PC somewhere... it's a work in progress for my future G coupe :-)

Biased? No kidding! "Mimicking the Germans and started making RWD sedans.." Huh? Obviously based on NA market and has no clue what JDM has been up to for the last 3 decades.
I can see the Bavarian incense burning in the background and invoking the lost Gods of Vahalla - nothing substantial or truly factual just the usual mystical "god-like integration of car and soul" craap you read in the BMW ads...what a joke. '07 G35 is a better car at the same price - but it's not, its a lot less...just IMHO.

In all seriousness, I don't feel this "bias" is bias at all. Why is it so hard to acknowledge that their BMW counterparts are the gold standard to be compared to? With that magazine aside, others doing this comparison will in all likelyhood still give BMW the edge due to their superior suspension setup.

Superior in what manner? For what type of driving? In the past you could take a legit swipe at the G35 for being too soft, or too much body roll, but I am guessing the M Sport version of the 2007 does not suffer from the same.
Personally I do not like the driving position in the 330 compared to a Z or G Coupe; too upright, too high. Guess it's what you're used to
