This is great, i've been on this board for a while & didn't get a z, I got the g35 coupe. Everyone here is great & knowledgeable & it will be great posting here again.

 

Yeah, exactly what I was thinking! (Only I didn't buy the G) It's nice to see this forum here, though. If I did buy a G, I wouldn't have to leave!

 

I was looking at the G real hard in Dec, but couldn't find one with what options I wanted. So I looked at a Z. They had a Z on the lot with all options so I started reading about the Z.
It seemed that there were ALOT of problems with the Z (tires, rattles, paint, etc) so I decided to NOT get a Z. So I started reading more about the G. Even though they are built off the same platform, I didn't see much in the way of problems with the G.
I then found a dealer that had exactly the car I wanted. Only sticky piont was that it was a demo (dealership's owner actually was driving the car) and it had 2090 miles. I was assured the car was perfect (it was) and got $1500 off.
I went for it. Car is great.

New wheels/tires should arrive Monday.

Getting pics will be a challenge, my camera took a dump. I *may* go get a new one this weekend though.

 

That sucks about the camera.

Nitto 555s are my favorite tire. I had them on my VR-4, but switched to Kuhmos because I had heard good things about the Kuhmos. The Kuhmos seemed noticably inferior in every category!!!

When it's time for new tires, I'll be back with NT555s.

That's why I wouldn't want a demo...

But, he did save a bunch of money, at least!

 

my cousin bragged about getting a demo 325i with the sport package or some other package for 31k
