correct me if i am wrong, but i dont know of anyone who has taken their coupe to the track. who will be the first? i say itll be me. anyone wanna wager? i am anxious to see where we stack up with the Z. there is a guy here that ran a 14.1 with an auto. i know from experience that our cars (with a 6MT) are as fast an auto. time will tell. im shooting for mid april to get to a strip. anyone in central tx wanna go with me.......

a friend of mine ran his (i wont say his name cuz hes not proud of his times), but he ran a 15.3 about a month ago, no traction.

that was my first time ever and i had just broken the car in
im coming back with a vengance
i saw an auto 4 door run a 14.4 so i know i ****ed up
this time im gonna redue tire pressure feather, not dump the clutch, not have a full tank of gas, and turn off traction control
i still managed to beat the rsxS everytime out if only by a nose.
i need to run better then car and drive to be happy cause they have the worst times for cars and i cant be slower then them.
oh yes ill be back

 

c&d ran a 14.2 so if you can beat them.............you go boy!!! i would be more interested to know what your trap was. times can fluctuate but trap speed will let you know what the cars potential is. just dont tell me that it was @ 90 or 92 mph its looking like im gonna get to the track on the 18th or 19th. i have never driven a manual at the track so i dont expect to set the world on fire. and since im not crazy about practicing launches in public roads, i know i will suck. congrats on the times and the guts to get out there and try it. practice will bring those times down. my friend, you carry the flag for us coupe owners. and i got your back

cool, Rob. just no picking on the "luxury" coupe i am thinking about maybe HRP. but seeing that i dont know of any others, maybe some of you guys can help me out. houston would be cool, since we could hang out later on westheimer and chill. just let me know. ill do some checking on when these tracks have open dates. im ready

HRP, hallet? How about Academy...think it's in Temple? Might only be 1/8th mile though, not sure. I don't know the Austin dragstrips either. I know of about 5 in and around the DC area...but that's a bit of a drive
