Acctually don't have it yet, getting ready to order a bunch of bolt-ons and was just curious how hard it was to put them on... Do you have any recomendations on both install and products in general?

I went with the basic 5/16 spacer from Motordyne after reviewing a comparison article that was done in a magazine. I can dig it up if I look around. Another board member who had done the install a number of times helped me out. However, it is not that hard. I was just apprehensive for no reason since I'm not really a mechanic.

My Skunk 2 spacer came with instructions with pictures. Simple took about an hour. Pull plenum apart stick spacer in bolt plenum back together with longer bolts supplied.

Last year I bought a 5/16 spacer and mrev for my G35. I do not have any experience around cars other than being able to change my oil and do a basic tune up. I was able to do the install by myself without any major problems.

It would probably help if you have someone help you just so you can move along faster, but you can do it by yourself. I used the instructions that came with the parts and did not have a hard time. Total install time was probably about 2 hours because I had to run around looking for tools. The only other thing I can suggest is make sure to have a torque wrench to torque the bolts down correctly. Prior to installing the parts I read threads about people snapping bolts or having leaks afterwards.

One more thing - when you're installing the spacer be careful not to pinch the rubber edge of the oil cap neck.

I got my spacer from the first Group Buy that Tony ever did...I installed it and it took a little over an hour with another G35 owner helping.

You will need another person to help you because you need the extra set of hands to help guide the plenum over the studs and hold the plenum gasket in place so it doesn't get pinched, all while holding the other hoses and lines out of the way.

It's not hard. Also as mentioned above be careful not to over torque things....

Spacer is pretty simple. Just follow directions (exactly) and you should be fine. If you run into any problems, just ask the ppl on this forum. I did mine by myself and took a couple of hours. Ran into some problems but fixed it with help of forum members.
