Default Privat Fahren's on G35C

Finally got a new camera, but it's been raining for a few days.
Here are some pics of a (dirty) G35 with Privat Fahren's.

F: 18 X 8 40mm Nitto 245/40 X 18
R: 18 X 9 40mm Nitto 275/70 X 18

I think they look good and they fill up the wheel wells.

Let me get some pics when it is clean. Hopefully it'll stop raining soon.

I was well taken care of. My dealer & I made tons of measurements to ensure proper fit. Their customer service is one of the best I've seen yet.

I think you can get away with 18's on the Z rather easily, but not on the G35 C. For some reason 18's look tiny on the G35.

Hmmmm. . . .
Too bad the wheel is not available in 19, I'd have to try that.

They do make 19's.....the offset might be a litle high though (40mm).

In his first post, I believe he said that the 18's he's got right now are 40mm...

Oh, well then I don't know why he said they're not available in 19's then?

I don not believe they are available in 19. I was only told 17 & 18".

I originally had Privat Fahren's in 40mm offset but I sold to help fund the Iforged whhels that I thought I wanted.

Then I changed my mind, and the fact I really liked the Privat wheels. So I bought another set. Only this time I decided to be a guinea pig on offset's, so instead of 40mm offset, I got 20mm (f) and 25mm (r). They look (and fit) incredible. The G appears to have larger wheel wells than the Z, so now the wheels fill out the wells.

19's are available...19x8 only.

18x are available in 8 and 9" widths with 20, 25, and 40 offset

Question Privat Fahren's on G35C

BillR,

Can you tell us if you notice any difference in the feel of the steering with the 20mm offset and 245 width tires vs. the stock tires and offsets?

Nice. Your tires fit perfectly in the wells. The wheels have a good look too. I have tread width envy now.

Are you just for show and/or do the bigger meats have a noticable perfromance gain?

It corners even more like on rails, however my boy racer days are over. So I would have to say for show.
