local chicagoZ guy that dynoed 298rwhp NA and 374rwhp on NAWZ...we're saying the dyno screwed up, but who knows...lol

 

Here's a few details to add on.

1. I have a similar set-up (minus headers and pulleys) and I had a 238 WHP on the SAME Mustang Dyno (so, headers and pulleys must be the sh** since they add 60 WHP!)

2. He has an Automatic, like me. Yet, his dyno graph shows WT numbers. When I went for my dyno, I did not get torque numbers because I had an automatic.

3. There was a guy with a 350Z 6MT roadster with his similar set-up and he was only putting down 250 WHP on yes, the SAME dyno.

4. He has a 75-shot of Nitrous, and lets say for the sake of argument he is putting down 245 WHP, the 75 shot will give him 129 more WHP???

 

highly doubt it


edit: I highly doubt he is making anything close to 280 much less 300.

 

He's using NOS.

This is the best claim i've seen all month.. I'm not a dyno expert but do mustangs overcompensate or overcorrect? Sure seems that's what SP does??

Every other supra seems to hit 1000whp+ on there dyno too.

 

I'm sure he's just relaying what he was told. Fact is the correction factor could've been anything and the operator could've just forgotten to reset it based on current atmospheric conditions. It's just operator error, not the guys fault... (he should've questioned the result though, that's for sure)

 

He must have put a K20 in it.

 

some 350z's dyno at 250whp stock some only get 240 it could be a factory freak

Is it possible for a 03 G35 Sedan 5ATto get 270~280WHP from Blitz intake, custom mid pipe, HKS exhaust and ECU reflash ?

he has NOS numbers and NA numbers...NA rwhp showed 298

the big thing is that SP's dyno seemed great at the dyno meet we had there last year (bolt on Z's made 250-270 range), so its pretty obvious this is a dyno error, but he was still kinda claiming it could be real

 

No, I saw he's using NOS, I even posted it in my reply after djnc's

But a 75 shot will not give him that much. Also, as I mentioned before, it does not explain the torque numbers for an automatic.

 

Oh Okay, with NOS Those Numbers seem doable, but I'm no expert def not with jut Bolt Ons though.

Nobody can beat ISMSOLUTIONS...he was claiming 340whp N/A over at G35Driver a while back . I ended up getting band there because I gave him so much $hit and he is a sponsor there and over here also .
