Hi all, I've been hanging out over on the Z side for awhile. But last night I traded my Z for a G. I also traded my 2006 Focus ST as well, the double swap! Here's the other thread where I dicuss, just wanted to post the pics over here and say hello.

I got a hell of a deal, basically paid invoice for the Sport, plus it has a sunroof and a couple of extras. I don't really want to wait til 2009 for 30hp when I can have this right now! Plus I figure 30hp is doable with bolt-ons which I would end up doing anyway. Such a sweet car, I'm in love.

congrats. There really aren't mods for the HR motor yet so I don't know how easy it will be to add power just with bolt-ons. G's are sweet, especially the new ones. Keep us posted with you modding progress.

 

Thanks man. Is "HR motor" the term used for the current 306hp version of the VQ used in my car on the latest Z?

Yep, the new 2007 Sedan and the 2007 Z both have the same motor, 306HP VQ35HR. The new G37 has the VQ37VHR, with VVEL.
