Once again you guys are going in a direction all on your own. If you look to the very first thread and every single thread I have posted since, you will see that it is the same. This thread was created to discuss the Rev Limit at 5300 RPMs. I have yet to see anyone comment on the actual subjet yet. Its all about "you put blow off here" and "eManage sucks and its cheap and no one likes it because we are rich". Greddy put the blow off there and the eManage came with the kit. I posted this for the people who are having the same issues. The issues are not limited to the eManage. I have seen people discuss similar issues with different Parallels and ECUs. If you have never had a problem with a limiter then you are the one that does not know what the subject is and should be quiet...I used the Abe joke first...why you jocking me? Now its played out because I used it again.

and as we have all said many times: WHAT REVLIMITER AT 5300 RPMS?

did the 350z suddenly become a Duramax Diesel?

maybe you just aren't explaining it enough... please go into some detail about what the hell you are trying to discuss.

+1. What rev limiter at 5300??? I HAVE a RevUp motor in my car and from day 1, I was able to hit 7200rpm before bouncing off of the factory rev limiter. After going GReddy TT with a UTEC, and NO STOCK ECU REFLASH, I was still able to hit 7200rpm before the factory rev limiter owned me. I have since taken a different direction with my car, but rest assured, I am VERY familiar with the subject you're talking about. Again, THERE IS NO 5300rpm REV LIMITER ON THE REVUP MOTORS. Where are you getting this information???

While we're at it - the GReddy kit doesn't come with a BOV. It doesn't even come with a flange for a BOV. So again, you're posting bad info.

If you really think you have a case with this arguement, and don't want to take my word for it - then please take it to the FI section and ask any of the shops that build and tune setups like the one you're discussing here all the time...

If on the other hand you think we're just posting counter-bullsh!t in hopes to strike up an arguement, then you're more than welcomed to take your false information elsewhere. But please do not show up on these forums and throw bad info around.

i love how u guys think piggybacks are the shyt, and how utec is the best out there. good marketing on the forums i guess.

no one out there knows how to tune the emanage ultimate. you have way more options on the ultimate. its just harder to tune than the utec.

Its great that you all do not have the problem, but others do...you dont know about it, you dont have the problem, then dont worry about it. Go comment somewhere else. Why do you have to waste my time? By the way, I told you tengai had a UTEC.

the EU is a piggyback. the reason most people prefer the Utec over the EU is that you can have full control of fuel and timing. You are not dealing with having to tune the car based off of what the ECu is doing. using offsets of the ecu is okay, but you never know which "map" the ecu is using when you were tuning your engine. the stock ecu has so many maps it works from. so, your timing could be way off from where you though you had it. the only thing negative about the UTEC is the interface. no one care though. you tune it, and that's it. you don't to have pretty bar graphs and colors to make a good EMS.

again, please explain this problem in more detail. WHY does it (rev limited) happen and how does your video prove you solved it? what cars experience this, what mods? stock cars? turbo? base, enthusiast? what years?

and no **** Tengai had a UTEC. I actually knew that, you guessed. guys around here move up, he could have HAD a Utec at one time and moved onto a Motec or something else... you never know.

take his advice: post this up so other shops can comment and see what they say.

i don't know why I keep needing to say the same thing: no one here thinks the UTEC is the ultimate... it is a good bang for the buck. it's affordable and tuners like it. if you want to recommend people to get a Emanage (ultimate even?) great. do it, have fun. no one is saying the utec is be all and end all, but it IS a good solution.

and your other thread is the same thing C&P with Utec in place of Emanage.

I really don't get what you are going for here.

This guy's a troll trying to pass off bad info and promote his shop or something... Whatever.

If you an issue with your car, then I think that's where it started and stopped. But please don't throw around information about a widespread problem that only seems to happen in your shop. Apparantly you guys don't know what the f'k you're doing...

For what it's worth, I'm going with a Haltech on my next build. Lemme guess, the Emanage Ultimate is better than that too, right? Dumb @ss...
