Default Advice on exhaust mods

Buying a 2K6 6spd. G coupe next week. Been lurking on several forums and finally decided to take the plunge. Thought about adding: tint, clear bra, Eibach pro-kit, Stillen Intake, and a y-pipe. Read several adds for exhaust and it seems that $1200+ exhausts like Stillen and Nismo come with a y-pipe. Am I right or wrong? If so, guess it would be more cost-effective to take the plunge and buy a used Nismo exhaust that includes such pipe. Any of you guys willing to share if you've had your G- dynoed and what gains you have experienced after you've done any mods like the ones mentioned above? Thanks in advance for any help.

I had my resonator removed, put a plenum spacer on and a greddy sp2 exhaust and my g sounds mean. It only depends on what you are doing, if you want to go forced induction you need to get a 3inch exhaust, but if your not what I did sounds nice.. only problem is the exhaust tips are huge.

I just want minimal exhaust mods. No turbo or supercharger plans ahead. My daily driver will be my beloved Max. However, there will probably be many times when I will drive the coupe to work.

If you purchase a "cat-back" exhaust, such as the nismo or stillen, it will include a Y-pipe. Adding an exhaust does not add much hp to your Z/G. It may add a little, but nothing significant. A simple cat back exhaust is a fairly easy DIY install and will change your exhaust note and make it sound more aggressive.
