First ever... 05/06 Sedan with angel rings?
Since Driver is down, I'll post this here, and once it goes back up I'll repost it overthur.
So, I doubt its the first, but the first I've seen and done. I know AAC installed their "oracle" lights on someones 05 G and F**KED it up. The guy posted on G35Driver complaining how the they messed up his lens, and installed the angel rings improperly. Thing is... no one makes 05/06 angel eye kits, so when AAC tried to install their 03/04 kits, they miserably failed, it looked like someone punched the G35 in both eyes. Anyway, a customers came to me today to get his rings installed, I thought he had the 03/04 so I said no problem, when he showed up I saw that he had an 06, I told him the top wouldn't work, but I can try to make the bottom one fit. After all, the rings were designed for the 03/04 headlights where they're mounted on the outside of the chrome bezel like this:
So after some trimming I successfully installed the lower rings but the top half ring wasn't big enough to sit around the shroud so I had to make it kinda float so it goes with the lines and successfully I did it, really surprised myself
This is the $29.99 kit off eBay for the 03/04 Sedans. He ordered white, but got the blue ones instead, and after installing them only then did he realize that they're blue and not white, which he originally wanted.

so whats the deal with AACstyle.com? I had my 04's modded from them with angel eyes and the clearance strip done....all 4 angel eyes have broken and the lens are foggy as anything...so i took them off and now have these from Mike@clearcorners.com! I praise him for the work he does!! great guy and excellent craftsmanship as you can see....I have an 04 coupe with the 06 projectors painted to match.
Clear Corners match as well...they also have an Orange LED strip that are turn signals..
