Thumbs up I got the Fast Intention Exaust with HFC today.

I have been waiting on the group buy for weeks, and since the 'Driver is down, I got impatient. I called FI yesterday and asked them if the system is ready to be built, and they told me yes, so I just told them make me a set with HFC. Of course, I didn't get the group buy price, but oh well.

I was pretty hard for me to find their place cause their addy did not show up on my G's Navigation system. Luckily, I had my Verizon XV6800 with the recent firmware update that enabled the GPS functionality, and with a little bit of help from the friendly Google map, I was able to find the place.

BTW, I let them install the kit for me as well.

Ok, I know you all want to see the pix instead of me talking so... here they are. BTW, sorry for the $hitty ass pix. My cam is broken so my POS phone cam is all I had. I'll try to upload some better ones tomorrow.

Some pix of mufflers before install...

Pix of pipings and HFC

Now, I'd like to give a mini review.

First, sound: The exaust note is.... just beautiful. It is louder than I expected, but I love it. I love it so much that I rev the freaking engine all the way back home. It has ABSOLUTELY NO rasp. The tone is DEEP (deeper than I imagined). So, to sum it up, it is MAGICAL.

Second, performance gain: I haven't really felt gains YET because I was so focusing on the damn exasut tone!! LOL But I can feel that it definitely flows better in the higher RPMs and pull harder. I'm going to get the JWT Pop-Charger as soon as they come out so I'll test more of this category later.

Third, looks: Well, they say the beauty is in the eyes of the beholder, but what can I say... I LOVE IT!!! They look so much better than the stock, ehh... looking mufflers. Shinny as chit, too! lol. Still, this tho', you should decide for yourself. Just look at those pix above.

Fourth and last, quality: FI did a magnificent job on the welding, crafting, and installing. They know what they're doing. That's all I have to say.

So, flame on. What's your opinion?

PS. I'm trying to find someone to help me make a few vid clips, and I'd be really appreciated if that someone can also provide the vid camara...?

It's in the sig. Work Varianza T1S.

Got some great deal from STATUS.

EDIT: I'm working on a schedule to make the vids. I'll probably post more pix and vids later when the 'Driver is back up and running again.

Couple of questions:

What is HFC?
What purpose does the Magnaflow play in the system?

HFC stands for high flow catalic converter.

That magnaflow you see is the X-pipe that Fast Intention uses. So it goes like: exhasut manifold -> HFC -> x-pipe -> mufflers.

BTW, they're Sebring mufflers.

they are trying to produce their own X-pipe but until that happens they found the magnaflow to be a greaat option.

sweet! vids asap....I was wanting to hear how the FI sounded with them. they system alone seemed toned down enough to allow for the added performance of HFC's without the raspy mess normally associated with them.

how much was your price without the GB? I was eagerly awaiting the GB, and then by an act of god, the g35 server blew up.

NIce job, looks great and I'm sure it sounds fantastic. What is the sound like inside at cruising speeds (50-80 mph)?

You won't notice much unless you gas the car. When you're cruising in the 5th and gas it, it is louder than the lower gears. So if you are driving slow in the higher gear, you will hear much more roar... did I say roar?

Oh, and I'm sorry, but you'd have to wait for the VID clip til next weekend. Terry and I are going to make them, but we both don't have any time during the weekdays... plus, it's raining like h3ll here in OC today.

Sorry gents!
