Default Black Roof?

So as I posted last week my car got pounded by golf ball to tennis ball sized hail last Saturday. It goes in the body shop probably next week. I'm getting a brand new hood, roof, and possibly decklid. I really like the look of a gloss black roof but I'm a little unsure of how good it will look on my unmodded car.

Any opinions? I'm stock+tint right now and don't have any plans for cosmetic mods for awhile (wheels maybe in a year or so).

I think if you tinted your glass with at least 35% a black roof could work. I think the black roof setup really pops if your rear windshield blends into the roof.

If you dont think you will have any other black accents later then I would consider just using stock laser red.. its a hot color already.

Yeah A and C pillars will remain. They are just going to pop the dents on those. But the roof will be new.

I got my roof painted gloss black and love it. IMO though, you do need dark window tint to pull off the look. I have limo on the back & rear 3/4 windows and 20% on the door windows.

Still haven't taken any pics since I got the first round of paint/body/wheel mods done on my car. Things have been kinda hectic for a while. I want to take pics before my next batch of mods to show the progress of the build. I'll try to take some pics this coming week.

Definately getting the black roof Now the body shop is saying they may just shoot the whole car! Which is good news because I like fresh paint. So now Im thinking of getting the mirrors black too, to match the roof. What do you guys think. At this point I just can't wait to get it back!!

We are in the process of making a carbon fiber roof overlay for the sunroof and non-sun roof coupes. Otherwise, BlueBat sells vynl overlays !

Get it painted. Don't go with overlays for the roof!

This probably doesn't help, but here is a member's two-toned Z from our last meet. I think it looks pretty good.
