Default G37Coupe 6MT reflash completed..

i posted this on myG37.. but if anyone doesnt read over there..

To all that may be interested, Technosquare just finished the Reflash for the G37Coupe MT Prototype car. The car came to us already with a prototype HKS Exhaust (which includes downpipe and mufflers), but stock cats, stock headers, and aftermarket intakes were installed.

Got some good strong numbers throughout the entire band, and the car now pulls all the way to the new Rev limit, which is 500 more than stock (although on the graph, it doesnt show it, but it is.) Things changed were Timing, A/F, throttle control, rev limiter raise and speed limiter removal.

TechnoSq is quite happy with the results on this prototype car, this was done using 91 California pump gas. 324.9 rwhp, 250.6 ft-lb torque....

93+ octane states could see a little more with more advanced timing...

if it was 310/310, either you'd see a massive torque dropoff like a turbo car as you approach redline, or redline would be much lower...

Simple physics...

Everyone agrees that F1 cars are fast right? they're roughly in the 250-300 ft/lbs torque range...

Car sales. 300hp Z will sell better than 287hp Z even if the latter one has more tq.

well each car each year does perform better then the past around the track (not talking 1/4) the Zs performance throught the years believe it or not have improved with each year with changes to revised suspension to interior quality and dampening . Look at best motoring and japan stock racing times each year they get better. The 06 with the extra rpm range and peak tq made good for road racing but preety tame for 1/4 without its tq ratio being decreased. The 07s + have the revised vq again and extra rpm range giving it more of a advantage on the track as we saw it decimate the s2k around bends which wasnt as pronounced in the 03-04 models.

each year the Z does get better. Same for Gs.

Impressive. The Torque curve is pretty flat as well.

I wonder how long the VQ37VHR can handle 8000+ rpm shifts.

i have a vq35de nonrevup but you have to give credit where its due
stock tq rivals original vq35s, and the tq band is flatter AND extends higher (=definition of making good power)

this chip adds to that across the board, generating significantly more tq at midrange and upper rpms, AND revs higher and still makes good tq up there. on paper at least, it all looks good to me.
