Is this a Crawford Post?
Rather than hi-jacking my own post about my engine cover being for sale, I thought I would post some info about my Crawford install. Some of you may have seen this over at freshalloy.com, but I thought it was worth repeating here.
The install went well. The sound at idle was the only thing that struck me as "did I install everything right?" I think it sounds a little like a baby diesel. I have put a sound byte in my album at Imagestation.com for those who would like to hear it.
This mod kicks ***! I drove around all night at 5500 to 6500 rpms with a s-eating grin. Enjoy the pics and let me know if you have any questions.
O'yea, my cover is for sale!

Part of me wants to tell you DO NOT SELL your cover. Reinstall in during visit's to the dealer. That's what I just did, but of course I created a custom shim to hide the oil fill collar to engine cover gap.
But, they still noticed the crawford welds on the side of the pleneum that the stock engine cover doesn't cover up and he told me latter that he (service writter) knew something was up. Their ordering a new tranny for my car and even though they knew about the pleneum, it didn't phase them. He commented that he thought I had more power than the coupe, I don't think so, but nice compliment.

Yea, Grubbs is totally cool about mods. No worries there. Since I plan on keeping the coupe for several years (I hope to have the GReddy TT installed in 18 months), I really see no reason to keep the cover. However, if I do not sell it, no big deal. I really do not think anyone will buy my cover. It is more of a inside joke.
