there are a few DIYs over on driver...the basic idea is to mark where everything plug/connector goes, unplug everything, pull out & unwrap the entire harness, and run just the wires you need to the plug/connectors. you can get fancy by sleeving everything, but you'd have to de-pin the connectors to get the sleeving on the wires. you do not have to cut or extend any wires, but if you decide to, do not cut any of the shielded wires (the big ones i can remember go to the MAF & throttle body i think). big ups to caskyline / rryde for showing me the way
i know 3 other people who've also tucked the harness that comes out of the top half of the battery compartment - this hides practically all the harnesses that go to the motor. its the same process, but you have to get to the plugs on the tranny and may have to extend some wires.

not bad. how much ride height did those rims add to the car? i have only a few inches of clearance with OEM front bumper. I'm on 350z htechs and it seems like the front end is super low. here in indiana i scrape in places coming in and out of parking lots.

i feel your pain man. When i had my stock bumper, i used to scrape all the time where I lived (santa monica apparently was built to survive a 300 year storm) so I got a nismo when i went aftermarket. its pretty close to stock height and it was a good 'training' bumper for driving a lowered car. getting rid of the diffuser got rid of most of the scrapes, and my learning to be more attentive got rid of the rest.
now that i'm in SF i was scared that i would scrape like crazy with the kuruma. its not that bad though, particularly since i've gotten used to driving a lowered car. my drop isn't crazy either...i'm not a 'slam it to the ground' kinda guy.
anyway, as i mentioned in the other thread, if you go aftermarket to help with airflow, the kuruma (and even the k2 GT-ER posted) is a good option. its clean, and ground clearance isn't a big deal as long as you don't go crazy with the drop.
