You could buy a great turbo kit and get smoked by a V8 350/G35. You can't compared the two. Great turbo setup 7K, Fuel Upgrade,1K, Exhaust 2K.
V8 4K, Mount Kit 4K. When you drive a V8 350/G35 verses a turbo setup you will see. Also the Vq motors can't handle much boast on stock pistons, rods, cylinder walls. You will spend a lot more building a TT built VQ setup then you will installing a V8. Not to mention the bolt on HP from V8.
Before I decided to install a V8 I sat down and figured every cent with the V8 vs. built motor TT VQ. Pors and cons. V8 took it by far. I can every say that working on the V8 in a 350/G35 bay is way to easy. Try working on the VQ with a turbo setup. Takes forever. I enjoy seeing other people do the V8 setups. This is only my two cents and just backing all of us that decide to put our money to good by buying a V8. Not saying a VQ TT is trash, don't get me wrong, just saying for the price you pay to get the HP and reliabillity you can't beat going with the V8. Nice setup, ready for some dyno numbers.

You know I agree with you guys about the whole V8 vs. Turbo VQ.. V8 is the best bang for your buck in my opinion..
Love the build thread Brew,, can't wait for your dyno numbers and vids..
For everyone that is interested in a LS swap there is a sticky thread that is dedicated to these builds check it out:https://my350z.com/forum/engine-and-...ns-thread.html

What did you have to do Goethe cooling. Stock rad? Surge tank. Where you ran your steam line, what rad cap you running and fans? I had to run aftermarket fans and make shroud and upgrade the fans to keep it somewhat cool. I just ordered a dual pass rad and hope it will help. Pictures and info would be great.

Cooling under control. Took a Dual Pass with the stock fans backwards on the front of the support. Also You should really heat wrap your starter. If you drive for a while it will soak up the heat and make it were it won't crank. Good Luck with the tune and all. I finally finished my fuel setup and poss. looking at milling the heads for a 12.1 comp. Only talking for now. I would like to see 640 at the wheels NA. When I get back from work I might try to make a ride to AL and trailer my car. I havent been able to let her lose with others that much. Let me know how things progress.

So i got my dyno numbers back they are almost exactly what you put down without the correction factor. 460hp 420tq not bad for a stock block and head truck motor While they were tuning we had to run the intake into the fender due to IAT readings of 143 deg! but got it down to 104 now. Will be spraying it next week once the trans and clutch are broken in.

Great numbers, did u happen to monitor fuel rail pressure at around 6500?
I fixed the problem after running that relay. 50 at the rail constant. I'll be work for another two weeks but when I get back Probly come check y'all out over there. Car is looking good.
