Should have had a V8 Brew_haha's LSX swap
#61
I was running the stock G35 radiator for the time being with no problems on cooling the LQ9 but wanted to gain some room to play around with piping for a single turbo application. I used a chasebays tucked radiator designed for the g35 LSX swap. This radiator is a dual pass and i ordered mine with both inlets and outlets -16AN.
Since i am still waiting to have a single turbo hot/cold side made up - (waiting in line for the local fab expert) i decided ill put a heavy wet shot on to tide me over. I swapped from the 102mm to the 92mm because i wouldnt loose any HP and i was having a weird idle issue this solved it right away.
I also hated the fact that for HP tuners i had to go back to my tuner to change any little things that i wanted done. So i switched to the Haltech Platnium sport 2000. With the milspec harness that i have it was easy to just pop off the back half of harness that connected to the stock GM ECU and swap it for haltech plugs.
