Yes the owner of this car is Ronald! And yes, we were off 1604 haha. Great eye! Ronald used a Sikky swap kit for this project and also opted for their long tube headers. From there he had a custom 3" Y pipe made with an electronic cutout after the primaries. After that it returns to the stock midpipe and muffler for a quiet (extremely quiet I might add) exhaust note when crusing. He likes to call it stealth mode haha. He also installed cams, fuel rails and a SRI. I'll find out more details on the parts when I can. If you guys want to come out, im going to film the dynos on thursday at Fuel Injection on Wye Drive! PM me and I'll get you my number.

everyones secretly knows if you want big power go with a chevy motor. ls blocks are perfect for g35s, but i think are a little overkill on a 350z, it would probably make it handle like crap. lgear it would have to cost about the same as rebuilding your motor with forged parts and a turbo kit. I would go the turbo route on the z.
now tell your buddy to hook up the stock exhaust for a second and see if you can run it as a sleeper lol. edit; omg he did this! whats the hp? drag times?

Pictures of the engine. I had completed my swap about 3 months ago and still upgrading. I should have over 515 RWHP after I'm finish next month. Its a low 11 secound right now but I have a monster clutch with lightend flywheel about to go in to keep from slipping. Also upgrade your fuel lines and pump or you will kill the motor. Do this if you haven't def before you drive it hard.

I haven't driven an LS powered G or Z, but the LS motors are made with aluminum heads, keeping weight down. The LS1s also sit super low in the engine bay of these cars (significantly lower than the VQs-just check out ZIKKYs photos of their builds), lowering their center of gravity, which greatly assists in handling.
If he's really going to make 515WHP or even somewhere near that NA, why would you stay with a turbo VQ??
