I know the Prelude was bad. I was the first to admit it haha. But, being 15 when I got it, great car.

As for me being an accident waiting to happen or that I'm going to have some big accident makes no sense. You've never seen me drive, nor have I had any major wrecks...so...what am I missing? I drove my car hard, for the street, but nothing beyond my limit or the car's limit. I daily drive the car, but I drive normal then. Besides, if I want to let it loose if live withing an hour of multiple tracks (not just 1/4 mile) so I can just sign up for that. What am I doing wrong?

As for my plans for the G, I have reached a ceiling on how fast my car can go on the street, while being safe. I'm just wanting to raise that ceiling so I can have more fun in my daily driver, while making it look better too.

Am I really doing anything wrong here? I mean, there were 2 vipers have a fairly serious accident on the tail of the dragon, while I just kept up. How I did it was a bit complicated (because of the understeer issue), but it isn't anything I cannot handle. I'm not trying to act like I'm the driving god of the world or anything. I just wanna know what I'm doing wrong? Is it just because I'm 18 and previously owned a riced out vehicle?

As to those who are supporting me (which I think exist somewhere in this thread...), I appreciate it.

For what it's worth, I joined this forum to learn and have any questions I have (or may have in the future) answered. Not to be told I'm an accident waiting to happen or etc. I'm open to opinions, but is just insulting me going to accomplish anything?

Now if anyone is joking, that's a whole different story haha.

So what am I missing?

Oh you know, as many neons as I can fit, a spoiler off of an Integra Type R, FWD conversion, Ebay body kit, etc. I just can't decide if I want to buy an Ebay turbo or do a viper v10 engine swap for my now FWD G.

Seriously though, I'm trying to avoid rice on this car. We bought the Prelude with most the mods already done. So if anyone sees me going too far rice with the G, please tell me so hahaha

Missed this the first time. I know it was quite long, I thank you for actually taking the time to read through the confusion. I hoped a thorough intro (as my first post) would help gain respect. Apparently I should have just posted pics of the car with very little background. Anywho, thanks for the welcome man.

Thanks man. The car was built when this sort of thing was big (bigger anyways) in the southeast. If some of you saw most the cars that drive around now a days. Its like my prelude was, with less work, gaudier body kits and wings, with about 17 different colors of primer. So for around here, its not tooooo riced.

Thanks again!

My commentary is based on quantitative analysis.

Just drive safe unlike many of your peers and you'll be fine.

Hopefully hearing someone other than your parents say
This is going to help. We've all been in accidents, some
Pretty awful. Fortunately, we can all still type.

So... Drive as safe as you can, respect the road &
Others, and hopefully you'll beat the odds.

I can't argue with that man. And I have been rear ended before, and I've broken bumpers (twice) on the Prelude. I just didn't really consider those wrecks. I appreciate the concern though, this is the kinda stuff that supports my decision to join a forum. Useful information haha.

My phone won't let me quote two people in one reply, but another post won't hurt anyone.

I thought about Nismo, but I don't like the two big vents. It just seems wrong. I originally was thinking about the top secret but 1. It will sit a little too low in comparison to the stock sides and rear. 2. I cant find a company I can/will trust that makes it in poly. I absolutely hate replicas, with very few exceptions. 3. The authentic is way out of my [current] budget and I believe it's made out of fiberglass, which doesn't work well for around here. The roads suck, even at stock height.

The Arch Industries K2 remix really caught my attention because it's 400-425 shipped to my house, is made out of poly, and sits marginally lower than stock, about like Nismo. Considering I hope to go FI (not just newb talk, I research as much as I can) in a few years (when I'm not making minimum wage haha) so this bumper would work best with setting up all the different coolers (FMIC, oil, transmission). And I'm really debating running brake ducts, but I need to try new pads first.

Great upgrade from the prelude! Black G35 coupe was definitely one of my dream cars in high school! Congrats!

I love how much more mature this car is. With the Prelude, it was all kids staring and wanting it and etc. This car, I have everyone from 18 up asking to trade haha. Thank you!

authentic ftw! the K2 is a good choice. another good looking poly bumper is this one:

And yes minimum wage will not help you get a turbo

good luck

Man that does look good, but something about is just isn't right to me. Besides, that one is 600+ shipped, versus $430 shipped for the k2. I appreciate it though. I like that website too haha.

That's the truth. I can barely afford tires and whatnot.
