Definitely a great car - almost too good. I had a G37 for a week as a review car. Great acceleration (the 7-speed auto is no slouch), brakes, handling and smooth ride - even the sport model. Great seats. Very well balanced. BMW has lost their way lately on the 3-series - their sporty handling sacrafices the smooth ride.

Absolutely loved the car and two friends of mine have bought G37's based on my feedback.

I have a one-year-old and have considered selling the Z a couple times since we only have one family car otherwise. I'm gonna try to hang onto it, but the G37 would definitely be on my short-list of replacements.

Here are a couple pics from my review:

And the best part:

Sweet! My wife has a 2011 335i sedan, and she commented on how smooth the G is compared to her car on her first ride.

I love the 7 speed in this car but just had to have a 6MT.

Nice pick up Keith. I lost the Z on my birthday to an illegal with no insurance(she totaled my baby) and picked up a 08 G37S coupe. How are you liking it so far? I love mine

Sweet pick up! Trying to convince my fiancee to get a g35/G37 sedan, rather get one of these an altima/maxima.

Nice! If anyone likes this car, it can be yours. I want a 4Runner (or an identical G37s with 7AT).

Why do you not like the manual transmission anymore?

clutch is terrible with that stupid helper spring. Tried a lighter spring with a pedal adjustment to no avail. Might try the RJM clutch pedal kit before throwing in the towel.
