I decided to put the blizzaks to the test today in my offices parking lot, and put on a little drifting exhibition during my lunch break. I would say the G35 handles better in the snow than my 98 3.2TL with all-seasons. Anyone else on snow tires go out there and take advantage of the snow tires and empty parking lots?

 

haha, yea ben, I did too, before everything turned into slush. There's this big lot right behind booth memorial hospital near the handball courts where lots of cars go to screw around after a big snowstorm. When the Northeaster came around, there was a few SUVS doing 360s and a WRX came around to drift a while. G35's with blizzaks are so much better than the all-seasons, its unbelievable.

 

What are you running for sizes?

Got my G so late in the season all I get is run-around on getting a stock match set of 4 anything. Not willing to park just 'cause the Pilots blow in the snow. My one snow ride with lots of ice gave me new respect for VDC...

 

245/40/18 all around. Using stock 350z 18" touring wheels as my snow wheels. my speedo is probably off slightly, but nothing horrible. I also get the advantage of rotating the fronts to the rears every other season to get even wear all around. Blizzak MZ03... bought them with less than 1000 miles for 225 /set from a former SC430 owner who sold it.

 

Great deal, hard to find good snows right now and my G is new, so - oh well.
