Default Custom gauge panels

http://www.imagestation.com/album/?id=4287816943&idx=5

These are custom panels made to my specs by Automotive Entertainment in Santa Monica.

The first panel is in the Nav cubby, and for my FI applications has the 52mm J&S Safeguard monitor on top, and below that two 60mm for the boost and air fuel ratio meters.

The second panel goes in the top glove box on the right. It has the exhaust gas temp, fuel pressure, oil pressure and water temp, in 60mm.

The door closes when you want them hidden.

They are not fully seated in the console cubby because I have to hook them up still, but when that is done they will sit flush in the housings.

They saved the molds at my request, so if any of you want to use them, just contact them directly and make your best deal. It was not cheap, and they lost money on it too, so I think they will be happy to take some orders for more...but this is not a cheapo "A" pillar mount.

Yep, you are going to have to use some zip fasteners to keep the wires together so there is some order back there!!

Hopefully this will let me plot the relationships of the A/F, Boost and RPMs over time under varying conditions, but with the J&S to then go back and having the confidence that it will not blow up, retune the A/F for more optimal performance.

Of course if it does not work, all it means is that I will coast to a stop, leaking oil and possibly on fire, with a concert of blinking lights and chirping meters, and a trail of busted metal bits behind and beneath.

I better be right, then. !!

Can someone post the pics? I don't really feel like registering at Imagestation to see them.

OH, OK. I didn't realize I had ventured into the G forum. I can't use these. They look nice though.

Yes it is funny. I guess the guys took it out when they were doing the work, and then tossed it in backwards/upside down. I did not even notice it! Too focused on the panel obviously.
Three of the gauges, the ones with the silver bezel, are Apexi electroluminescent (light blue) electronic gauges, and the other three with the black bezel are Greddy with the green backlight. They are all typical black face white markings in daylight. I will take some pictures at night with the lights on so you can see them. Might be a few days, as I am going to head up to Monterrey to run a few laps at Laguna Seca this weekend.

The smaller 52mm monitor is the knock retard and boost retard from J&S, located in the center console above the other meters.

These placements will of course only work if you do not have the Nav system already installed.
