Default VQ35 G vs Z

I know that the G35 and 350Z use the same engine block but are the rest of the internals the same? Are the aftermarket parts on the Z and G interchangable, particularly turbos?

yes the G35 and 350Z motors are identical... I believe the FX35 motor is 100% identical as well. The only difference between them is the intake duct.

Fitment of the aftermarket parts into two different sized engine compartments would probably be your biggest concern.
