Need advice on lowering my g35coupe !!
Hey guys... quick question about lowering the g35coupe.Is it ok to just put eibacj springs to lower my car 2 inches all around and still keep the stock shocks? I mean will I blow my shocks by just putting those eibachs? I have read that people are using these shocks and dropping it 2 inches all around.. I really want to do it but need more info on this. I found the shocks for 250$ ..also i was told that if the shocks to blow that eibach will replace them for free?
I believe the Eibach Pro Kit springs only drop the car 1.1/1.0 (F/R) inches. Your stock shocks and struts should be fine. A 2" drop would probably require some different shocks and struts.
To add to this thread, who out there is running the stock shocks and Eiback Pro Kit combination and how did it affect your rear camber?

I got my Eibachs on about one week ago.. My front specs were pretty close to factory. I think they were -1.5 and -1.6. The rears were a little farther off though. They were -1.6 and -1.8 so I think I'm going to be buying some camber correction bars from Kinetix when I have some spare money.
One more thing.. I was very surprised how much my car has settled since the springs were originally installed. The car is noticably lower but not slammed, just perfect!!

When I had my alignment done the sheet said the specifiied range for the rear is between -1.0 and -2.0 so your rear is in spec. Does your alignment sheet say different?
I have the S-techs and my front is at -1.5 and -1.3 and the rear is at -2.1 and -1.8 I've only had them on for about a week. This week I'm going to have it aligned again to be safe.
If you go with the Eibachs you shouldn't have to replace the shocks. If the shocks do blow Eibach isn't going to replace them.
For what it's worth, I've had lowering springs with stock shocks on my last 4 cars and never had the shocks wear out prematurely.
