Default Wire harness wire question.

So I'm cleaning up my harness doing a wire tuck and I have a issue with this black wire gray stripe that goes on to the coil packs my question is is this just a ground/- wire it attackes to the front of the engine at the back timing cover with a loop. If this is just - or ground then I can probly cut it and ground it on the back side of the block vs it sitting in the front looking all thug nasty. Re routing my harness to the back of the block vs. that thick ugly thing in the front trying to make a clean engine bay without all the crazy wires everywhere.

The coils can get very finicky - if it was me, I’d keep everything exactly how it is and reconnect to the backside of the block out of sight.

It’s goofy … I seperated all my wires into single runs, wrapped each, and left the coils alone. I was able to run the coils behind the plenum without stressing the wires.

If you need further help let me know … happy to help!

You know the only question I have is what did you put your ground wire to?? Like the one that's usually in the from on the timing cover? It's a loop thing that's on the coil wires with a black a gray stripe wire.

So pretty much treat it like the wife and find a hole to stick it in. Make sure it's grounded to the engine. I wouldn't do the platinum as I got a kinetics. But I can do the block somewhere.
