Default Question about Nav System????

I just put a deposit on an 04 6mt coupe. Question is if I should get the navigation?

I was planning on getting it after I bought the car, but the salesman told me I had to get it when I purchased it, because they cannot install the navigation after I purchase it. They said it was pre-wired and could not be installed later.

Is this true?

Nick

yea i heard this also. SO i got it. Its real nice. I keep the Nav screen always up becuase it has the fuel economy there as a option. The cool thing about it is when you push the gas there is a picture of the leaf and it goes up and down as you gas the car.

And when you add the ty tuner to it (aftermarket one) then its hella nice. Watch laker games all the time from school to home.

If you want the factory Nav - order it with your car... it's way too expensive to add it on... 2x or more the initial cost

It's true, the nav uses a different electrical harness then the non-navs. If you want to install it after your purchase your car, you're going to have to pull out the old harness and replace with the nav harness, plus your going to have to change out your dash plates too. Like FzyLgic said, it's way too expensive to add on unless you do an after market, that's expensive too. If you do aftermarket, I heard that the Pioneer makes a real good one. Hope this helps.
