Protocav,
Awesome wheels on the G.
What color/ shade/ code did you have the inner parts painted? Is it powder coated matte or glossed?
I might have to roll by LA fitness on Clairemont sometime just to catch a glimpse of your wheels in person!
So if you ever see a Silverstone Z just rolling by slowly one day....don't be alarmed.

thanks for the compliments!! these wheels are heavy...period. i was really upset about it when i weighed them, but forgot about it immediately when i put them on. even with the toyo's, i picked up 7 pounds each in the front, and 8.5 pounds each in the rear. i have hawk hps pads, and i made sure to switch those out before i put the wheels on. i now get no brake dust at all.

the wheels are powdercoated gloss gunmetal. this is a factory color from IForged, and i ordered them like that.
if you aren't busy on tuesday nights (including this tuesday 4/20) , a group of G35's meet in the Kmart parking lot on the corner of Clairemont mesa and Convoy at 8:00pm sharp. we then head to fusion cafe for socaleuro's weekly meet. tons of different types of cars (including Z's), and a bunch of nice people. we would love to have you cruise with us.

I know exactly where you're talking about. I've actually been to a couple of those Socaleuro meet's at Fusion cafe. One my buds from Europrojects frequents these when he's down here in San Diego. The cafe folks/ owners/ workers are nice people.
I never knew they met up with other JDM enthusiasts. I might roll by depending on if the studies permits. Hope you guys don't mind having a Z33 at your G meet.

Might roll by on tuesday.
Hope to catch you there.

i ordered directly through IForged when they had the group buy a few months ago. the package with tires was just over 4K.
the wheels aren't too bad to wash (stock was certainly easier), and the color hides a lot of dirt. i have admired your car too joe...very nice setup and stance. nice bumper too.
anyone who is in the SD area, please feel free to cruise to K-mart (corner of Clairemont Mesa & Convoy) at 8:00pm every tuesday for the socal euro meet.
