I agree, I guess I am not getting my point across very well, and it is falling victim to the usual lack of expression that cannot be put across on print. I do not mean to hate on any cars and SteveZ you need to make sure you take your meds.
A G35 showing up to a z Car event is like a Trans-Am showing up to a Camaro show. They are the same car/platform with different facia. A Trans-Am and a Corvette are completely different cars. About the only thing they share in common, is that they are both made by GM.

a couple of random thoughts:
It wasn't just a z meet, it was a car show put on by a z-car club ( a collaboration of a few florida clubs, I think), a private organization with their own rules. What they want to do is their business and fine with me. Many of the previous generation owners barely accept the 350, so it should be no surprise about the G.

Had they accepted the G35c, should they have also let the G35 sedan enter? If so, how about the FX, since its the same also?

btw, in the Georgia Z club, we allow G35c owners to join.

If you go back and RE-READ the initial post, I asked if anyone would mind having the G35 community show up. The very person who is now bashing the G35's was the one who was cool with us initially showing up.

That's the only confusing part to me.

Dr. Jeckyl or Mr. Hyde???

I keep telling myself to stay away as it seems I keep not communicating my point well and just make it worst. I am not a non-Z car hater. I did tell you it was cool to show up with your group and you were very cool about how you approached it, I guess I get defensive or stubborn is when people (not you) come on strong as to how they should be considered the same as a Z that is all, like I tell my wife all of the time it is not what you say it is how you say it, I guess this is an issue like religion and politics, everyone has strong opinions.
