Well i took my car in to the infintit dealership because my a/c wasnt working. so i just got a call back saying that it was my Injen CAI was rubbing against some line and caused a "pin"hole or a "hole" in the line so all my freeon i think the cold stuff is leaking out. and since they say MY CAI caused it. its not going to be udner warrenty and they want to charge me $700 is this true can this happen and is there anyone out there that can fix it cheaper ?

You can get this fixed in a A/C shop for a LOT CHEAPER than that. Just take your car to an A/C shop.

They are right in saying the CAI negates your A/C warrenty.
Can't help you on the 3rd party fix. Maybe someone else can.

the way the warranty is worded is that if they can "prove" an aftermarket part caused teh problem then yes, you will have to pay for it....

as for fixing it...there is always cheaper options to dealerships...any specific repair shop would likely be cheaper, like they said I would try an A/C repair shop or a local shop you trust/know.

You guys are hillarious. Trying to cover up your mess. LOL. I would do the same thing though (replace airbox and go to another dealership). Good luck.
