Good job and sweet set up, when will those skirts come out? Your front bumper is it the stock bumper w/lip or all new bumper? What did you use to lower your G, nice set up?

Thanks

Extreme Dimensions is putting these sideskirts into production right now, so hopefully they will be out soon. I am running 7.4lbs of boost, dynoed yesterday at 362whp and 350torque. How about you, is yours up and running yet?

Well I am finally done with with my custom Extreme dimensions side skirts and Stillen rear lip. I saw these side skirts at the SEMA show in Las Vegas in November last year and have been trying to buy them from them ever since. They said that they will produce these someday and all the molds they have made so far are prototypes because they don't fit perfectly. I own a body shop so I didn't care if they didn't fit exact I would make them work, (especially for the price of Nismo or Impul side skirts). They actually fit quite well if I hadn't wanted to cut one inch out them so they would match my front bumper and rear lip, height wise. It was a lot of work for one inch, but those are the small details to me that add up to the overall appearance. Maybe if some more people start calling Extreme Dimensions they can get these skirts into production.

JoeNismo,

I noticed that your front turn signals in the head light compartment are clear. Just wanted to know where you got them and who makes them? Was is hard to install them? Thanks

I took my headlights apart, (lense separated from the housing using a heat gun and a small screwdriver), painted the housings black, and cut the orange signal out and replaced it with clear overhead lighting from Home Depot, then seam sealed it all back together. It is a very long process (6-8 hours for the whole project). I think you can buy them done like this for around $1000. Otherwise you can try it yourself, but I don't recommend it. I wouldn't even want to do it again if someone paid me.

Extremedimensions.com or 1-888-611-2376 ext.11 Steve.

Once again thanks for the compliments everyone.

My bumper is a Nismo replica I purchased from Dave at 350zforums.org. It is a complete new fiberglass bumper. The original Nismo is fiberglass too. Price was $400 plus shipping. Fitment was pretty good, just plan on a little extra prepping if you want it perfect. My car has 20x8.5 and 20x10 three piece Iforged aeros with 285/30/20 and 245/35/20 lowered with Eibach springs. I think Extreme Dimensions is putting the skirts into production soon.

Wow, threads like this makes me think about trading my Z for a G.

Actually....nah...I'm in the process of convincing my younger brother to get the G. This way we can trade off.

By the way....you have a very nice exterior setup. One of the best I have seen on the G. But for some reason I favor Volk rims.... so have to say....20" GTC gunmetals would go better with the car! =)

Default Not a big fan

I'm not very impressed. The wheels do not look great with the car color or the body kit imo. Also, why did you debadge? Did you get some other badging to replace it? Don't you think it looks silly w/o any badging on the back? This was just my opinion and I could see why others would like it. The work is hands down amazing. Very good craftsmanship and originality. Also, why is your greddy twin turbo gettin such low hp? Shouldn't you be breaking the 400+ barrier?

I would LOVE to see another G that looks as good where the owner did their OWN body work like it was done here. And also this guy was one of the first to take the risk of installing the TT kit on his car let alone a G35, back when 380whp was considered dangerous. Seriously its people like Joe that current TT owners should thank for taking that step and offering the information from his experience.
