NFC Y-Pipe instead of Borla
I have decided to get a NFC Y Pipe instead of the Borla because I am scared of the sound factor and Thats where most of the power is lost in the Y-pipe and not the muffler. What do you guys think about it. I know of altleast one person on here that gave favorable reviews of it. I need something because my poor Injen makes everything sound so bottled up.

ACTUALLY its the resenator that makes a difference in the exhaust note/sound. Muffler play a role but not as much.
DOnt forget ... most of your bottle neck happens at the muffler section ... and not the Y pipe.
YOUR MAIN THING SHOULD BE::: getting the pipe that are the same diameter (inside) so you want to match them up... rather then having different diameter pipes. that will yeild to more HP gains BUT keep in mind... the straigher the pipe the better...less bends = more HP due to velocity of air travel.

The coupe gets a high performance muffler and the sedan does not.
But,........all FM platform vehicles all get the same flow robbing oem Y-pipe. Eliminating that part of the exhaust is a requirement to chase any usefull improvment in flow/exhaust gas volocity. Here's proof, behold the oem Y-pipe without it's head shielding. Notice the compression bends, tight turns and horrible Y-collector.

If you are keeping exhaust piping down stream that equals the oem pipe diameter, I recommend the soon to be released Kinetix Y-pipe over the other's that also have a 65mm collector. If you have 76.3mm piping downstream, get the Jic Y-pipe.
Frankly, their's no reason a guy can't make his own with mandrel pre-bent piping, flanges and a miter saw, just have a shop weld in on and have nothing to do with design (stay in control).

around NY area... even if you have a shop do welds for you and fitting everything right, it would still run you about 200 or less.
and if you going through all that trouble might as well spend a few more bucks and get a quality peice.
otherwise... if you have at your finger tips such as a tac welder.. then you will save a ton of loot.
