Question Exhaust Questions

Well i am planning on getting an exhaust this week and these are my choices .. 1 - Fujitsubo w/o "Y pipe", 2 - Injen Ses, 3 - Greddy Evo 2, 4 - RSR exhaust.. but the thing is i wanted to know will i get good gains from the Fujitsubo if i do not get that "Y" pipe ?? is it worth getting just the exhaust ?? ... i cant get the "y" pipe because i dont have that much money... and if the fujitsubo isnt worth getting unless i get the "Y" pipe which exhaust should i go for.. i am looking for sound and performance but looks to count some what .. and to the people that have the Fujitsubo can i see some pictures please !! .. please someone help me decide which exhaust to get i need help !!!! thanks a lot guys

I'll probably end up getting injen ses but I've heard lots of good things about the fujitsubo. I'm mostly worried about which exhaust will work well with FI. I'm probably going to go with a supercharger so I'll want to go with which ever one is the biggest piping for less restriction.

As far as getting the fuji w/o the Y pipe, I'm sure it will make good gains just maybe not as much as if you were to get the Y pipe. Maybe get it and then get the Y pipe later??

MY fuji (with Y and crawford cats) has really been good to me (FI here)...

at first it was very mild, and didnt sound very agressive at all...

it has been on for over 800 miles now, and has broken in nicely (and now has a very deep 'tuned' sound, similar to no others on the road)....

it kinda has the same reverb the stock system has from 2000-3000, but no back-draw sounds (could be due to my FI however).....

i prefer this system, as it is large diameter (tips and midpipe) with top shelf welds and materials used....

its well worth it, IMO...

Is it true that the Injen delivers the most HP??

esemes: Can you post more pics of your fuji exhaust? The one you posted looks pretty good.

thanks for the help guys .. if i plan on buying the fujitsubo exhaust i was planning on buying the "Y" pipe later ...i was calculating the FUJI pipe and it is 2.99 " which qualifies for the turbo .. because turbo needs about a 3" pipe so later i can use this exhaust with turbo ...so need to spend extra money but i wanted to know does the FUJIT has a very "deep" / "bass" tone to it cause that is what i am looking for and i noticed that the FUJIT exhaust is "shinier" then the 350z is that right ??

dj-

keep in imnd, the diameters of where the Y and the Midpipe union will NOT be the same.....

i wouldnt do one without the other...... (unless you wanna get a reducer to avoid the step that is created...

as far as the grapefruit launchers, well, yeah, they be big....

i wouldnt have it any other way, IMO (a lil over 4.5" dia each)

they do fit the oem bumper cutouts very well (see above)......

IF anything, i guess id get the Y first, and live with the step, while sourcing the midpipe/ remainder of the system (saw a few used, for a great deal, about a month or so ago....)

Default from our friends at g35driver::

fuji versus stockie...

the y-pipe will fit the oem mid-pipe. though the diameter is larger, the flange is smaller, thus making the bolt locations the same as stock.
