G35 changes:

yeh they are 19s. i think that they are ok.

 

other than the fact that the new wheels are 19s, i like the older 18s much better....

Infiniti should have made the 03-04 stock 18s to 19s....now that would have been PHAT~~~!!

I Can't decide if I like the rims or not - I am still liking my '03 w/the Brembo's.....

 

anyone know the width of the SEDAN 18s?

 

I like the wheels but wish they were a deep dish (like everyone else). The other thing is the offset doesn't look like it allows the wheel to sit flush with the fender flares, as many after market wheels do. I was thinking of putting a spacer in to accomplish this. Has anyone spaced their stock 18s to set them flush with the fenders, any problems with doing this?

 

Anyone know if those perforated seats will be air conditioned?

 

one issue with spacers is that you'll need to replace the studs, which can get expensive (unless the cars have bolts rather than studs??? I'm embarrased to say I haven't taken a wheel off my 03 6MT G35 Sedan!)


other than that, it can be a nice way to get a better look and improve handling via the wider track.

 

There are a few aftermarket wheels that will let you get a more flush look and a deeper offset dish.

 

Are you guys sure these are the new 19's or are they updated 18's? I onl;y say so because I thought only the G35C with sport was to have the 19's...not the sedan.
