Any Working Nav to DVD conversions?

Any Working Nav to DVD conversions?
As anyone developed a simple switch, harness, etc that will allow the factory NAV unit play DVDs?
If not, is the only option still AV electronics box?
All I want is to play DVD on the factory screen.
