Hey guys.. I was wondering if any of you know where i can get a 8 inch or 10 inch extension piece to put on a nismo exhaust..

Go to any local muffler shop and they can weld in an extra piece. However, I thought that the exhaust tips on the Nismo didn't stick out far enough on the G- something about the bumper extending farther than the Z...

 

Pro-1 should have some available within the next couple weeks. A container is coming w/ the extensions.

 

a extension with 8 or 10 inches will make the exhaust tip stick out.. 6 inch lets it sit slighty under the rear bumper..

 

If this extension is going to be used on the mid-pipe then you are incorrect. The hangars used on the 350Z Nismo exhaust are the same as on the G, so it will sit in the bumper. The only way to make the tips sit flush w/ the bumper is to weld extensions onto the tips.

 

are you sure?.. I've seen a guy with an 8 inch extension piece and the tips do sit flush to the rear bumper.. they were still nismo tips.. untouched

 

I would love to get a nismo exhaust also.
It would really help if someone with it on a G can post pics of their tips from all angles!!

 

I done one before. You need an 8 inch extension not 10 inches. You'll still have to get the tips extended out. If not, the tips will sit about 1 inch behind the bumper. It's cost me $130 for everything.

I think Performance Nissan sells the extension piece for the G35C.

Performance Nissan doesn't have any in stock...they sell the Pro-1 piece which is on backorder.
