Default HRE Vs I-forged

I got a question, actually what is the difference between HRE 545R and I-forged Aero in term of the model/shape. I know that they are completely different brand, but they look very similar. I can't make a judgement coz I never see them in person.

hmm.. I've seen the HRE's but not the Iforged. I really like the 545R's. They sure are spendy though.

What are the differences? They are two wheels made by two different manufacturers. It's like asking what the difference is between a Cavalier and a Civic. Both great wheels...the iForged being the less expensive choice.

I heard they are almost identical because they used the same manufacturers.

The HRE website works for me. Can you be more specific about the problem. I just browsed the wheels page and it worked.

Note: They haven't updated the new 9-series wheels that they displayed at SEMA '04

My personal definition of fake would be like a

Konig Monsoon

vs.

Volk AV3

No offense taken by your claim that iForged are "fake", but I just have a different interpretation.

they arent fake HRE....its impossible for millions of different wheel companies to come into the market and all have diff wheels

its hard to make a simple 5-spoke 6-spoke or 7-spoke wheel a million diff ways...so a lot of wheels do look identical

IMO nothing looks as good as Iforged Aero (im talkin about 5 spoke wheels)

nothing in the HRE line looks close enough to it that you should call them fake HRE

i dont mind if you start calling these imitation cast wheels fakes...but iforged is quality forged wheels at a much more reasonable price...you think they are fake..dont buy em

They have a new ceramic coating that is better than clearcoat. We'll see if they peel. Just mounted a new set of these.
