That is ********, even if the 2 exhausts were a completely different design, the problem is in the resonators and how they are designed. Why would they use two different brands of resonator for each exhaust?

 

I see that Injen has a different series out for the straight tip, its called PTSES1985C. Is it any different from the old one that has persistent fiberglass problems?

 

My Straight tip Injen blew fiberglass out for at least 2 months and over 5000 miles after I put it on. Recently Im beginning to think that is has gotten a little louder/raspier. I had test-pipes on it, then put the stock cats in, and just recently put the test-pipes back on-this time around I think its a little louder/raspier then what I remember it being. yeah thats what happens. Mine blew out glass until all the cans were empty. And after Injen refused to fix the problem, (they gave me a replacement of the same horrible design) I just packed the resonators myself with extra coarse steel wool.

 

I have the injen super ses straight tip on my Z. and my friend has the ses straight tip on his G. Both had it for a bit, and no problems what so ever.
